brake cleaner, carb cleaner, starting fluid, whatever; they're all the same, except the degreaser. brake cleaner is just the cheapest of them. plus, it's a lot easier to just keep several cans of brake cleaner in the cabinet than a couple of each, then having to go out and get the "right" one when i run out. buy 'em on sale and i'm good to go.
