Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
You can shoot a .22 all day for $20, that's why. If you get proficient with a good quality .22, your practice time will show when you move up to bigger calibers.
Practice makes you a better shot and a .22 is one of the cheapest ways to get that practice in.
Also Magicman, consider a Colt or Springfield Government Model as another purchase AND buy a conversion kit to make it interchangeable with .22 ammo. That way you can save a few bucks and still ahve two more calibers available to you, and only one trigger pull to master. Some say those kits are a great option to two guns. Just a thought.

a guy i know has a friend who's a retired fbi agent that tests firearms and writes for some mag rags about them. He's pretty impressed with Rock Islands pieces for the price. 1911 .45 cheap. like 350 buck! i think they even have a 9mm in the same style. did some research on some forums and google and most people are really happy with it. 1 , 2, even 3000 rounds and no jam what so ever. i think the main thing they modify is the trigger.

yea iknow the .22 is cheaper, i mean the first pistol i owned was a .22, but I got sick of it real quick and sold it. Thats why I mean its a "waste" just cuz you can get bored of it quick, thats all. Just my opinion. For a pistol I would def go .40 , or .45 if you can handle a gun well. 9mm are quite fun, but the.40 just as that bit of extra kick to it, thats y i prefer that

Speaking of shotguns, I held this killer Mossberg today. I want it, but the blue finish is cheaper so I'm going to check around for that & if no one can get it soon I'll grab the marinecote

Either way, this is the SG I'm buying.
