Some of those weights are grossly over inflated! 6.5 lbs floor matt's. LOL Good link though.
45 lbs back seats.... They must of had a dealer installed power option I was unaware of! My muffler heat shielding was some corrugated aluminum that you could fold over with your pinkie.
As I have said unless it's unsprung weight like wheels 100lbs in a mere .10 gain. Taking seats and shit like that out is a waste unless you have a all out drag car!Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I have some REAL weight numbers coming for you all with pics on my digital scale.
I will prove those other numbers are BS.
I'll try to get the pics taken and posted tomorrow.

Has anyone ever taken the time to cut holes in the stock skid plate? I am thinking that 30 min's with a cut-off wheel would trim the fat off the plate without spending a lot of money on an aftermarket POS. I prefer to save my money to make HP!

I will say this: my skid plate had 3-4 nasty looking dings in it that were not on the bottom. It appears as if some road debris hit them at ~80-100 mph (sorry my bad). I don't know what impact this would have on the oil pan, but it did make a nasty mark on the skid plate. I don't have the juevos to take her completley off. Besides, with a little work I think I can convert it into an air scoop to cool the oil a little. I will mess with it this w/e and see if I can't figure something out.
Here in Michigan, the roads suck. We have monster truck eating pot holes and the roads are always under construction.
