Automatic Shift Pattern

I heard old guys, where I used to live in Illinois call it a bump shifter. Never heard it after I moved East to North Carolina or when I moved here to Arizona.

That must be it. I've only heard it from people like 60+, and only when I was in Illinois.

It is night and day from Indiana to out on the westcoast were I'm at now.

Hey! I'm not old, just from Indiana. We recently got daylight savings time, and now we have legal fireworks. So we're slow on some things and not on others.

This was the first time I've heard the ratchet shifter refered to as a "bump" shifter too.
