I have a HP Pavilion DV9009 17". It has two 80g hard drives. AMD Turion 64x2 processor.1.93 GB Ram. Bought it in Dec. of 06 and just had a harddrive crash on me and had to send back. Turn around was quick! But the one thing I hate is when you call them your talking to "Habieb" that says his name is Mike...You know he is in India. And there customer service sucks!!!

I was interested in a bigger external monitor from Dell a while back and I decided to ask about it via online chat. One of the first questions asked was, "Are you now using monitor?". I ended the session after that.

I've had 3 dell laptops and 1 dell desktop, i've discovered that building a computer is cheaper than buying one from dell or any of those places.
However, i've had great experiences with Dell laptops, i'm acctually in the market for either the new XPS M133 or the XPS M1710....

Don't ever use DVD Shrink or DVD Fab.

Dell 8100 1ghz pent 3, 32 meg vid card,30 gb hd super fast laBtop well it was pretty good back in 2001 and still running. Had a hard drive failure 6months after i got it (got a new one sent to me) and a few years ago the hinges for the screen broke. Np for me to fix.

Oh i did have to fix one connection by the power plug input but that was my fault for getting the cord stuck on my foot as i walked away.. This is the only computer i owned and use it atleast 7 hrs every day.

Custom Compaq V2000 that I ordered last year for $308!

I only use it for video editing and DVD creation. Oh, and showing vids at carshows.

I don't hook it up to the internet because I want it to keep its new performance.

It's a very basic model, but it serves my purposes.

I had my sign shop cut a decal for the top and then I put one of my front plate birds on it.

I have a HP ZD8000 that I purchased in Mar '05.

I had to replace the system board in it about 3 months ago or so now ($289 on eBay).

This is the only problem that I've had from it.

17"
P4 3.0GHz
2GB RAM
128MB X600 Video Card

I bought a Toshiba Sattelite a105-s4004 centrino Duo last July for school and I love it. I've dropped it and everything and it's stilling kickin it. I've never had any problems with it over heating and I multi-task like crazy on it. I also installed Windows vista Home premium on it and it runs better than it did with XP (can't figure out why). I bought the three year warranty from Best Buy because at the time I was using it for work and it sat in the truck in 100 degree weather for hours at a time and it was likely to get dropped or crushed.
