With the power his car has he has high 11s easy with good track conditions, and irs bushings. The rubber bushings that mount the irs in the terminators are where all that wheel hop comes from. With poly bushings and no wheelhop he will be able to jus mat the throttle and let her go with some DRs. When he gets a pully, a cat back and cold air, hell really be flyin. Good times when you consider that its a bone stock car with shit conditions.

no love, just more bullshit. im fairly sure that a stock f body wont squeeze out mid to low 12s. sure the terminator is supercharged but who gives a shit, its fast.
i dont want to get sucked into another stupid debate. i love my z28, but its not running mid 12s stock.

Are IRSs all the same size? I never hear about anyone 'blowing' one up.

Hahaha oh believe me people have blown them up. When they get that wicked wheelhop they break. Its mostly half shalfs that snap and the entire cases that fracture. The irs in the terminator is 8.8 center section. So its real strong but the way its mounted to the car with rubber bushings that have too much play they hop. This load and shock makes things break. When the irs is beefed up with better axles and a brace and bushings its pretty stout and really tough to break. Its hardly as worrysome as the 7.5 10 bolt in the fbodies thats for sure.
