Make sure you have your computer code and serial number on the back of the handheld ready when you call.

[QUOTE=T/A98:2763743]Try and contact SCT direct. They can email it to you and you just load it to the handheld.[/QUO]

Have you checked the starter relays at all to see if something popped? It almost sounds like the PCM locked you out or something.

04-07-2012, 02:08 PM #28They gave us a code to wipe the pcm clean, then codes to restore to stock. Then we updated the handheld now were running performance tune! Runs pretty damm great now that the CAI and tune is in along with the hushpower catback.

did you guys interupt the tuner in progress in any way or did it just hang on it's own? In the early years of tuning when basically LS1edit was it......it was fairly common for someone to accidentally unplug it or have a weak battery on the car/laptop and lose connection mid flash. In those days edit took a long time to flash. Back in those days when that happened you were done but edit would gladly sell you another spot on the cable for $100 when you got your new pcm and then paid $50 extra for handling charges when you mailed the cable back to them to add the vin.

Just under 400hp. Ive done quite a few of these cars with long tubes, intake and tune and 425-430 seems to be common. Get a set of dynatech headers and let it eat.

After just headers on our car it jumped up 30hp.

All i know is the new 5.0 does not respond well to handheld tuners after time.
My shop has had a handful of 5.0's come in to the shop with powertrain issues, most common was failure on number 8. All were due to handheld tuners, keep in mind that these tuners void warranty, wouldnt be no fun having to pay for a longblock out of your own pocket. My advice is ditch the handheld and get a real dyno tune.

You can write custom tunes and save them on a handheld.
