Silver- 1998 Trans Am
Anyone know why the mileage on the cluster does not show. The rest of the cluster seems fine

Does anyone know if a 98 TA cluster will work in a 99 TA? I think their are a few differences between clusters of those years?

Red- 2002 Trans Am WS6 (M6)
The 98 clusters are different than the 99-02 clusters. There are differences that cause issues but I can't remember what they are and mine's a 2002 so I know I needed to avoid the 98 clusters when I bought a spare several years ago. There should be a lot of information posted about the differences but you'll have to search for it either on this site or other sites.

Yeah that's what I kinda figured. Their are a bunch of differences between the 98 and 99-02 T/A's. Seems like everything in the 99-02's can be swapped to one another but not the 98. My 98 got hit and totalled out. Bought it back got a ton of good parts, just can't use them on my new 99 now.
