my father may be a smart man but this is MY car and should be what I want. but as for the polished aluminum i haven't really looked into them, if it was anything itd be chrome.

Polished aluminum looks better than chrome. Chrome can flake off as well, but polished takes more upkeep.
They look pretty much the same....with the polished having more 'flash' to them.

That's like when I started modding my car. My father would put his two cents in...and I would quickly remind him that the car payments are in MY name. He just facepalms and we both laugh.
