    denegrader,

you asked about what labor would be, ...well since i paid a shop to do this (and replace the clutch, slave cyl, flywheel etc.) - looking at my invoice - he doesn't have the hours, but the labor charges were about $650, ...now that was just labor, ...on top of that i had $$ for the new clutch components, ...but if you just did the RMS, then you'd be looking at something like $650 + cost of RMS/materials/etc.,

BTW, from your pics your new camaro looks good from the outside, ...buying used is a crapshoot. did you have it checked out before buying, or look underneath it? anyway, if you can get your RMS replaced, ..maybe even do your clutch/flywheel/slave, etc - all at once, you should be in good shape for a long time!

denegrator, you've got like 3-4 different threads on this issue... you're killing me.

your car looks great! you can post all the pics you want in "members rides", though. , ... now if you save up some money you can get your leak fixed and maybe a new clutch too.

    Unhappy

close ya see the trail of oil r.s. oil pan, left side had same, also several pan bolts had oil on them both sides of pan, also previous owners mech told me pan gasket said timing cover too.
ya see i believe the original owner befor me tried to stop it w/ valve cover gaskets mech changed em i believe they got disgusted when the mech told em the price so advertised it and sold it.
now w/ only 74,000 miles like new in and out babied never ate in smoked in garaged original owners became disgusted i surmise.
    now its my prob
i think if i can lower pressure like u ls1 guys were talkin i think maybe the oil will not push out of pan gasket in several places but collects at drain plug,@ several pan bolts or right side, even starter, back of pan gasket then is wind blown ,b.h. tranny, mount, o2 sensor bracket and tranny, means it had a several place seepages from pan gasket maybe for6 mos im guessing
    wat ya think a that??
