If the wing was lower and slightly smaller and the hood was less outlandish, I could deal with it minus those awful decals and rims. But that's a whole lot of show for a car that is likely bone stock otherwise, and a 5.7 at that.

It's not my kind of car, but it doesn't look that bad to me.

I guess that came out wrong.. I have also had a Grand Prix and liked it too. The GTO is a nice car for sure. I just think they needed a "meaner" front clip is all.. They just are'nt my cup o' tea.. No offense plz guys..
The "picks" was supposed to be "pricks" cuz the sc (l67) cars are faster than my l36
..

Ahh the fly by wire Series-III SC.. Nice! ..and damn it! lol But it has been replaced with the lighter, better balanced, more efficient 660 "woot"... The 660 does'nt need an SC (amoung other things) for better numbers..
3800, Good motor but it's time has come...
Production of the 3800 V6 engine officially ended on Friday, August 22, 2008 when plant 36 was closed. There was a closing ceremony and speakers who extolled the virtues of the engine. Originally GM had set this date for January 1, 1999; however, due to the vast number of complaints from both investors and customers because of the popularity and reliability of the engine, the date was extended. At the end of production, the LZ4 3500 OHV V6 replaced the naturally aspirated 3800 applications, and the LY7 3600 DOHC V6 replaced the supercharged 3800 applications..Last edited by Smittro; 06-29-2010 at 12:36 PM. Reason: added my usual 660 stuff

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
To me, my car looks like a modern version of the 74 Ventura/GTO. Like the 2nd gen Nova.

No way in hell man. Your car looks much better than that heap.
I think the GTO's are awesome, and I'd love to have one, but man, they're just way too much money for me right now, even the LS1's. But, the thing that I love about the GTO's is that you get a quiet, roomy, refined interior, as opposed to some of the other domestic performance cars out there. The interior just seems to be very refined just from seeing it in person. I also like the way they look as well, even though I believe it's pretty difficult to get wide tires (315's etc.) on those cars, speaking on behalf of what I've read. And while the interior is nice and refined, they are LSX powered so modding potential is there, whether it's the LS1 or LS2. Just great cars, the GTO's have the whole package IMO, it's everything I want in a car right now, would be a perfect college commuter car for fall of next year, it's just they cost too much money. I think I could MAYBE even grab one if they could be found for12-13k since they're such a huge step up from a Mustang GT/F-body and it'd be worth paying the extra 2-3k for one, but I don't think you can find them in that price range

If you wiggle up a little you can find quite a few at $15-16k, and there are several 2004 cars in the $12-13k range. I even see modded up 2004s for $15k from time to time.
