    and finally gent in belgium:

one of the nicest trips we ever took, three weeks altogether. we had good weather the whole time, but each area we visited drowned in rain a few days after we had moved on. seriously, floodings and all!

I love the architecture of Europe compared to what we see around here.

I will upload some pics sometime...

Ok here are some from vegas. These are taken with a pocket cam so don't complain too much plz

Most of these pictures are outside of the Venitian or inside. Just ask if you got questions...

These are of the creepy kid on the bus we called the unibomber and mostly of Fremont street, where the light show happens. We were on our way back.

I got a picture of me and my sisters underneath that rock on the left. It looks like we are holding it up

Colorado is the best place I have ever been. On the beauty factor.

A friend of mine was a pit boss at the Venitian a few years ago so when I was out there last year he gave a few of us a tour. Best part- the High Rollers room. There were tables where the minimum was more than I see in a year...

I can imagine. We were all over that town and we felt so under dressed, every where we went.

Not really a road trip (it's only about 15 miles from where we live) but the wife and I were in downtown Memphis last week and took some pics:

A view of the river from Tom Lee Park, looking north. That's the I240 bridge

    Same pic, better angle:

Mississippi River looking South from Tom Lee Park those are the railroad bridges and I55:

    Memphis skyline from T.L.Park

The Pyramid & Mud Island monorail tracks:

    Riverboats that do tours:

    Crappy pic of Beale Street:

    Memphis streetcar:

Yeah, the tracks are in the middle of the road:

Sterick Building, it's totally cool. It needs to be restored BADLY, has been empty for 25yrs. The 1st pic has the back of the Autozone Park baseball stadium in it.

    Forrest Park:

I'd say your country has some of the best scenery per square mile I'd love to go back there and visit longer. I didn't get to see a lot of the things I wanted to last time I was there, plus I'd like to take my wife.
Good idea on the thread BTW

Did you go to top of Pike's Peak?

For a guy whose home is less than 2k above sea level being at 14k plus makes the lungs work hard. LOL

No I didn't get to do that, but we hung around Colorado Springs mostly. Went to the top of some mountain in Estes park as well. That's where my sister got married.

Did a quick tour of some caves too, it was pretty cool!

I'd really like to go back soon. It's been almost 10 years

I went to CO Springs for New Years of 2k with my best friend. His sister lived there. Then went back this past summer with my wife cause her best friends hubby is stationed there.

Ya Pike's is an awesome view. It is like 5 bucks a person to go up it I think. But it is BEAUTIFUL at the top.

My wife wants to retire there after the kids are gone and we both are through working.
