I got 300,000 hard miles out of my last GMC truck before the rings finally went bad and it smoked a bit. My point is-I used conventional oil and fram filters.In my Maro- I still use conventional oil (Valvoline) but I use a better filter (K@N). IMHO you don't need oil additives-especially if you change oil/filter every 3,000.

ohh okay yeah i change my oil every 2500 miles so i should be doin okay. im going to need to clean it sometime tho if i wanna keep my z lol
