F-Bodys have been unibody since the begining.. HP can tweak/twist the frame. I know of people that after HP mods and racing that their T-Tops leak and other issues. It does not take much HP with the f-bodies to twist it.. I have weld in SFC's... But you can get bolt in also and other styles.. Below is just 1 example and its BMR...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Did you cut out the base to allow for more air flow? Also did you cut out the flap over the core support? Gotta do that for it to work properly
I have QTP SS race headers (no AIR) with the HVMC. They work great, fit well and still look good after 5 years (stainless steel = no color changes). New they were a bit pricey. I lucked out and found a used pair for half price.
My car isn't lowered so I went with a true dual setup and an X-pipe with Magna Flows all dumped at the axle. Needless to say no cats or AIR.

an air lid is a must if you are planning on getting future mods, because most mods will need more air, and an air lid is a cheap way to start.

Citrus(burn't) Orange- 2001 Camaro SS
well i would get a diablo sport programmer, on some sites you can get them for a little over 300 dollars. And it is worth the money, i think. bc you can always sell it for just a little less than you paid for it bc you cant wear it out. I think the SLP cold air intake package is supposed to add 20hp over stock. But cost 300 from them. I say buy some of the stuff used bc you cant wear it out.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
#1. do not get a programmer, mail order tune or dyno tune for these cars
A mail order tune is better fitted for your car and way cheaper
Top Right Ad of this page
#2. SLP is known for making outrageous HP/TQ claims, not saying the cold air is crap, just saying its not 20hp

She's right though. A handheld tuner is kinda like jacking off. It feels good but it's not the same.

i just came into quite a bit of money, and gonna start to mod mine i think im going to to with an intake, cam , and exhaust. I dont want a really crazy cam but around 228/230 with a upper .500 inch lift and 112/114lsa, id also want an aluminum intake cuz i wanna run nitrous through it. For exhaust longtubes and an x pipe with mufflers. I want your opinion on how much this could cost me i have 3,000 i can spend.
