Just like I said, I'm gonna have it parked 3 blocks away in a parking garage so hopefully parking is not gonna be an issue. I'm paying like 6 bucks to have it parked over there. No way am i doing a burnout in that car, absoultley not. He'll be able to tell I did one. That black tire scum will be on the rear quarter panel, happens every time he goes to the track. He'll be able to tell if I did a burnout or not.

honestly, i would take it easy the first time out.
i say the "first time" because once your dad sees he can trust you with his vette, there will be many more times to take it out.
trust me...the day after my mom bought her 2005 mustang gt, i asked if i could take it out for a quick drive. she said sure. so i take it out, and my dumbass hammers on it once i hit the local turnpike. now this gt came with a magnaflow already on it, and it was LOUD for whatever reason.
long story short, my mom heard me slamming gears from her condo complex since the turnpike kinda runs parallel to it.
this was 3 years ago, and i still haven't driven the car since that day lmao. she just wont let me, even though i've had my Nova and my Camaro all this time

I am sure I know what most post say, so not going to read it...
I've taken some of my parents cars out, with there permission... That may or may not cost as much as a house.
Just be sure to park it safe, take it easy, don't get on it much, just don't red line it (it's not yours), don't break the tires loose. Have fun, but be safe. I may had took a scenic route, around a lake. But always bought it back with gas and cleaned up and back in the garage it went... I even taken his cars to a local car show, usually the ones he wants to sell.

A 2007 Corvette Z51 6 spd coupe. It's got a Varam cai (I think thats the brand) Corsa Sport catback, American Racing longtubes, F.A.S.T intake manifold, 4.10's I believe, and a tune. Not sure how much it dyno'ed in at can't remember. My guess is probably high 300's like 390-395rwhp. Will be getting a procharger soon, he only wants like 6-8 psi.

No, none of that photoshoot shit if by the slightest chance he sees his car somewhere on the internet with me driving he's gonna kick my ass. It's going to school getting parked, getting on the highway before I go home for about45 min. then getting gas and getting parked in the garage and put on the battery charger.

no prob.
aw shit, if its a c6 those are like driving kittens on fuzzy blankets as long as he leaves the traction control on.
look kid, leave that thing on, youll be fine. traction control has been keeping 65 year old dentists out of the ditch for dozens of years. I tried to do a sweet powerslide with TC off out of my friends apartment complex in my 06 and ended up pointing the wrong way in traffic. dont be like modulistic.
