Not quite yet a stud (P. Harvin)....but he certainly has the make-up to be one in the future.

    Orion,
Saints? I'm a Pats fan and I can relate to your team more than any other in the league. We had some real lean years.Godawful actually. I think Benson is a good owner and I think the Saints are good for New Orleans especially after the hurricane. And contrary to opinion, I like R. Bush. I just think he is what he is. Great in college, complimentary in the pros. He just has the luggage of being taken where he was. Kinda like a Ricky Williams 2.0

But they need to go deep in the playoffs to get the monkey off their backs.

When the Cowboys stop playing like the Backstreet Boys, then your opinion might count.

    Until then... Pffft!!!

Saints are really surprising me this year. Still a lil unsure on if they are a Superbowl contender due to their D, but with Brees, who needs a D?

gotta have a D and D's win superbowls. They have a fairly decent D ( ranked 9th) so they're coming along. Not real talented on D I don't think so they're playing above their talent level. Couple of tests coming up. Miami against the run and then Atlanta overall. The D plays good against those 2 teams and I'll be sold. Just watching them and listening to them on the radio though and these guys are the real deal. Offense is spectacular and the D has been making huge plays when it counted.

They kind of are reminding me of the '98 Vikings team except for a slighty better defense. And yes, if they are to win go to the Superbowl, the D will have to play at a high level. The Pats game will be a huge test for them. Other than the Pats, the Dolphins and the Falcons are your only other true tests. If my Vikings can't make it, I'm all for the Saints.
