I'd start upgrading the suspension. SFC's, LCA's, HD Torque arm...
With the extra HP, you might want some traction too !!! Good Luck !!!

Yea that was for an autocross event ; )
came into 2nd place in my class and busted some AWD cars hehe.

as for the other guy who said get traction, well so far my suspension is has
strut bar, sub frame connectors, front sway bar delete, adj, panhard bar, lower control arms, lca relocation brackets, stock v6 rear springs and rear 50/50 shocks any day now should be putting on a moser 12 bolt with 4.10 gears with a Detroit locker.

Should be hooking up quite nicely (maybe better minus the STB)!!! I'm having a helluva time getting traction with a cam and STOCK SUSPENSION

ran 13.01 @110 with a 1.98 60ft. with full bolt ons (10 bolt and street tires) but I haven't been to the track yet with the new setup. With suspension, 9" rear and sticky tires I'm hoping for mid to low 11's

little more body roll when cornering but it helps transfer weight to the rear for added traction.

and 15 lbs off the front end.
Either way you can really see/feel the difference when launching the car.

Because there is less weight in the front? Is it that heavy?

I think it has more to do with how much the sway bar absorbs energy. Without it, all that energy from a launch is moved toward the rear of the vehicle instead of being dampened by the sway bar.

Hmm...I'll have to do some field testing on this.

That too, mine weighted 15 lbs so its 15lbs off the front end.

The anti-roll bar that replaces the rear sway bar helps a lot. It even corners nicer than when I had a front sway bar on it !!! Launches nice, straight, & level ! No more twisting going on here !!! LOL

Thanks, and nah I haven't had it at the track yet. Right now it's only mail order tuned and thought it's running very well I'd rather wait till everything is in line lol! Plus I'm on the stock 10 bolt still with poopy street tires and I'll be running mid to low 12's at what, like 118/120 since with a 1.9x 60 ft
