Okay. Sitting outside, eh? Has it rained/snowed and been cold recently? I ask as we had a rainstorm over here in Jersey a few weeks back and my lock cylinder had froze. Since I don't store my car in the winter, I was able to unlock both doors with my fob to get in through the passenger side and unlock my driver's door manually. Your lock cylinder could be frozen. Try to unlock it again tomorrow or a warm day and see if it unlocks. Keep us posted.

It was 60 degrees so it was not frozen. Paid $40 to get a guy to come out to unlock the door but I am in. Installed the battery and fired her up. Still going to be another week before snow is no longer forcasted and I can drive it on the road. I will take the door panel off in the next few days and have a peek around to see what is up.

The General. I think my Caddie might be the same... one door lock on the entire car.

I'm sure there must be some kind of reasoning behind that, but, I'm not seeing it

Yeah, I looked the other day before I left for work. Only key lock cylinder on the CTS is the driver door.

Yep. I believe Vette as well. I don't know about the CTS, but the GTO also has a manual trunk release behind the passenger rear headrest and a fuel door pull release in the trunk.

Appreciate all the help back in the day. It is a stupid lock design, and the door cannot be locked without the key fob either. It is now stored indoors. Since I posted I have taken my car back to its original state as a Holden Monaro. Looking for an '05 hood that I do not have to repaint. Tried to post pics of my car but the site is not cooperating.

Cannot unlock door
Keep an eye out on Ebay, but be warned, a factory hood, even used is over a grand. Part of the reason I went aftermarket.
