I agree. I would put him on notice that you plan to involve the LEO's if he doesn't address the situation immediately. I would proceed to do so if he does not.

At the same time, I'd be looking for a new place to work. Where I am, they wouldn't hesitate to escort someone out of the place over something like that.

This is unfortunate. Employers are supposed to be there for employees on situations like this. They are being irresponsible with this situation. Continue to document this.
