    I haven't lifted wieghts in a long time, but when I played football in highschool I maxed at 330. Two of my fellow teammates (who happened to be twins and towered over me at 6'8") maxed out at 370. I tried 350 once and thought my arms were going to tear out of their sockets. So more power to those that can do it I say.

    Man I feel weak reading what some of you guys are putting up....i'm only doing 200 for 3 reps. I can't max out because I don't have a spotter...just my g/f and she doesn't count. How long did it take some of you to be able to bench 300+?

    My Max years ago was 245 for 6 reps. Used to work out with my Bro-in-law.
    He was ripped, and strong as an ox.

    now my workouts entail walking th dogs and then drink beer.

    It took me about 2 years to break the 300 mark as a juvenile. I was incarcerated alot as a youngster. We didn't have access to weights until later on. I actually got my chest and strength originally from hundreds of push ups. The triangles and finger tips seemed to do the most for me.
    You live and learn and all I can say is I'm glad I got away from all that BS alive and well. Many of my close friends did not.
    Anyways.... I have been in and out of the whole workout deal over the years. The only thing that I have lost by not staying hard at it is my arms. My chest has never went away even when I have bull shited for a couple years there.

    On the girlfriend tip... Don't try it I almost killed myself on house arrest once trusting between the both of us I could get it back up!

    I started lifting weights at age 10, because my step-father said any boy that can't bench his own weight wasn't worth a pile of sh**. I broke the 300 mark at age 17 but could never seem to break out of the 330-340 range.

    290... when i played football last year... and only maxed when i had to... but now am a HHP major.. (personal trainer) and have learned much... i never max out now i do reps... last time i repped high weight i did 225lbs 17 times... about killed me lol....

    I thought about the size-on pills but after trying the mixed berry drink I actually like it....tastes like koolaid

    good god... thats what i call freaking practical strength... i really think 225 17 times is wayyyy more impressive than 330 once... but kudos to all you guys anyways, im trying to hit 315 without weighing more than 185...im 175 now

    i weigh 174.6 and have weighed within a pound of that the last 3 years or so... tellin ya right now... dont max... yea its cool to know what you do... but NOOOO good comes from it only bad... i am a HHP major and a personal trainer.. mxing is terrible... and like you said ^^^^ lil lighter weight a bunch of times is more impressive... and you get more ripped then bulky (which) by your comment sounds like what you want... could pm you a few parts of some of my workouts that i have if you want.. also have weight gain and loss programs... meal plans... meal and workout logs... whole nine yards... pm if you want.. or any ?'s (i dont mind talking about working out)

    I weigh 163 as of 10 minutes ago, I am 5'11 and my Max is 200 on bench. The most reps I've ever gotten that weight at is 6

    and i dont know what you do right now... but if you weigh 175 and are doing over 225 right now.. you MIGHT gain 5 lbs by the time you hit 315... but it hugely depends on your body type... (also have a list of diff. body types..) i was weighing 174 and was somewhere in the 350 range but never maxed a one time rep.. it was always 6-10 reps... QUICK workouts(30-45) mins. are WAAAAAAAAAY better than those ones where your in the gym for 2 hours...

    im 510 and a halflol... your max is 200.... but your repping 225 6 times???? that doesnt make since.... i think that would make your max a lil higher than 200.. reprase that a lil.. haha
