    thanx mr.lous..it wasnt as bad a mod as i expected,& no the plate is still on the car...........just behind the stock bumper cover where it belongsin ohio its the law,but my car isnt a daily driver & the cover looks much better so ill take my chances

    Is it ok to leave a car stock?

    Hey guys and gals,

    Is it all right to leave a car stock? I am not really interested in lowering my car or getting different rims. I like my car the way it is. I have only wanted a T/A since I saw Smokey and the Bandit at the movies.
    I take that back, I was thinking of putting a glow in the dark coloring for the word "Ram Air" on the hood, the "Trans Am" badge on the doors and the firebird on the taillight and on the front where the license plate goes. Does that sound gaudy?







    I appreciate any and all thought on the subject, thanks.

    Beautiful car Scully! When you say gow in the dark.. do you mean reflective? If so, there are LOTS of F-bodies with that.. looks good if you want the car to jump out at night... not a look I wanted, but your car, your taste. Good luck.. and there is nothing wrong with keeping a car stock.

    They do have glow vinyl, I wouldn't advise it though, doesn't really show up in any light situation.

    Like Kitt said tho, stick with reflective if you plan on changing the vinyl wording or adding anything.

    Looks GREAT Jaison.

    If it were mine, the only thing I would change is the red calipers. Too standoff'ish' for my tastes. Sticks out in a bad way to me.
    Not my ride though, and otherwise, it looks TITS!!!
