haha I wished, but there is a way to make it fire like a full auto, a couple of ways, one is legal, my uncle machines all his recievers and makes his own guns, he wont machine mine to full auto.
there is another way but you got to practice your ass off to be able to shoot like this..

I just talked to my buddy last night.... His brother just bought the full auto conversion a couple months ago...
He said it goes off the recoil of the round..... Meaning, the first couple rounds are slower coming out, then after the recoils start adding up, shit starts flying. Sounds fun!!!

.40 is a great all around round. Powerful and not too expensive. I prefer .45 but it is more expensive to shoot, worth the cost for defense but not for shooting paper. My favorite caliber is probably 10mm. VERY powerful but expensive and you don't find it at the local Wally World.

There is no legal way to make a handgun full auto. Never has been. Never will be. Have you priced a legal full auto weapon lately? Try 10-25 grand for a transferable auto rifle and we are mostly talking beat ass old rifles becuase they had to have been produced when full auto was legal which ended if memory serves me in 87' or 88'. On top of the huge price sticker you still need a class 3 license and tax stamp to own one.

Oh disregard part of my last post. you guys were talking about an AK not a handgun. Still VERY expensive to own legal full auto.

I shoot mostly .45 and .223-5.56mm. But have had 9's and 40's as well. I want a 10mm 1911 and a hand cannon revolver as well. But my main shooting buddy moved out of state so I really don't shoot too often now so I would rather put money in the Formy or buy guitars than spend a buch of money on more guns I will barely ever shoot. I haven't even been to the range since like December. Ammo is getting too god damn expensive too. .45 and .223 has damn near doubled in price in the last couple of years.

the xd is probably one of the most popular handguns on the market, 40 is a good caliber and has plenty of knockdown power. i personally dont like the xd because i just dont like the frame on it but its all personal opinion you got a hell of a deal on a hell of a weapon.
oh btw it my understanding that the .38 special and the 9mm have very simliar ballistics and bullets for that matter. someone corrct me if im wrong
