05-19-2007, 03:48 AM #121^ Understand once and for all that all inadvertent SES codes can be cleared. Conditions utilizing more, or less air can be adjusted for. It is when the change in air is so substantial (eg; incorrectly installed intake manifold, for the fifth time) that the PCM can no longer compensate....

You assume things, and twist my words to justify your plastic argument. If you carefully re-inspect my original post, you'll find that I advised you to disconnect the battery, so the code can be cleared. The code will NOT remain, even WITH THE VACUUM LEAK (providing it's not substantial, as in a <cough cough> loose intake manifold <cough cough>).....

You don't have to listen to me, and that's okay. but, I take offense when people twist my words around. I'll clarify it for you once more so that maybe then you'll get it; If an engine is idling fine, no SES codes. Turn it off, and remove the the throttle body gasket. Assemble everything, and start the engine. Woops, you have as SES code triggered as the STOCK PCM PARAMETERS SENSED MORE AIR. Disconnect the battery to allow for BLM, and the PCM will adjust for proper fuel distribution to compensate, eliminating the SES code, EVEN WITH THE VACUUM LEAK STILL BEING PREVALENT, BECAUSE IT IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED A VACUUM LEAK!!!!!!
Understand yet.....?
People REMOVE the PCV valve entirely, and allow for the PCM to adjust itself accordingly, with no other modification. It's only when the additional air is so substantial that a code will remain prevalent, because the PCM can't keep up with the required fuel demand.....

Ah man it so looked like rain here. Oh well.
UPDATE to the story. I was leaving Seaside yesterday with the gf and as we were leaving I heard some guys yelling so I stopped and turned around and it was a black C6 Z06 and a red C5 Z06. I pulled over in there and it was indeed the black Z I raced and the owner of the Lambo (who also has a red C5 Z06). Get this, the kid who drives the brand new Lambo and the C5 Z06 is 20 years old!!!!!!! I told him he has quite the arsenal of vehicles! Anyway, they were all cool guys and the guy with the Z said he is getting a tune from East Coast something next week!

The thing was brand new only had 5k miles on it along with the dealer plates. You should have seen the treatment i got when i pulled the thing up to vallet at the casinos. Manager comes up introduces himself and wishes me luck on my gambling, they must have thought i was cheap when they only got a five dollar tip

Density Altitude. just like dyno correcting, you are trying to find out what 'altitude' the atmosphere is at. temperture and humidity play the factors in it. you run quicker in lower altitudes versus higher altitudes. ask Mr. Luos. has a 10 second car, but only has timeslips showing 11s because he's 5800 feet in the air.

Do you mean thread? If so, I started this thread, so you are in mine. As for the other one, well, someone else started it. I made a comment because what you said did not make much sense, I was not trying to insult you, I merely thought you misread what the one guy said. You then started bashing and talking sh*t.
