whats your point? pitchers will still throw at you if you crowd the plate, and i think its stupid that they get thrown out for doing so. baseball used to be gritty, now its kinda pussy.
bonds hits the homers because almost every pitcher lets him stand so far inside. one to the dome and i think he may just get the message.
and btw whoever said steroids helped bonds play into his 40s is wrong. he's lucky he was in very good shape before he started juicing. time is strongly against him if he continues to do so.
anyone remember ken camniti? remember how in shape he was? what kind of athlete he was? now do you remember what happened when he thought he should be huge???
dead.

shhhh. youre fucking me up dude....

j/k yeah that is true but i can say without a doubt that steriod use was the major factor. i read a huge article about the autopsy they did and what all he was using a few years ago. wish i knew what magazine or where to look but its been a long time.

u said pitchers dominated....1 reason is they could knock your head off if they wanted....and how many games in the 60's, 70's and 80's did u watch ?
also many many players have did roids with little results at the plate....u have to be able to hit period
and he has passed every test they have give him.....explain that one ?

they didnt just go around knocking out batters when they felt like it, so lets not stretch the truth. and i used to be a huge baseball fan, so i watched alot of old cardinals games my dad and grandpa had taped. espn classic too!!
many many players? who? jose was a power hitter. palmero was a power hitter. sosa was a power hitter. mcgwire was a power hitter. camniti was a power hitter. john cruk was a fat ass...wait...um nevermind.
what kind of tests? what do they test? testosterone levels? you can just as rapidly stop producing testosterone as you can produce it, its the ridiculous time period and burst of it that makes it dangerous to start and to stop. my friend almost killed himself juicing, so i know about the ugly part of it, the blood running out an arm when the shit didnt inject right. its sick and its almost unreal.
explain the tests.

read about what happened to his ballsack and thats no bullshit. he was not healthy because of steroid abuse, not just his little coke habit.
either way he is a moron and so is bonds and the rest of the body builders posing as ballplayers.
remember when ball players werent on roids? neither do i...

if someone showed up bob gibson next time around he hit them.........one guy that hit a homerun off him, Gibson retired b4 they met again..... 10 years later in a hall of fame game the guy came to bat against gibson guess what happened ? u got it gibson nailed him lol
1,000's of players who never make minor/major baseball have took roids
W/O tallent roids get u no where. If the truth could be told how many players in the past have been on roids ? No testing back in the day. I of course dont know in detail what a steroids test consist of. Is it worth the risk using them ? NO

i agree but we arent talking about talent here. bonds is not in his prime anymore, and look what he did while he was in his prime. he hit 40+ a year and was a complete player. if you honestly think that being a powerful guy has nothing to with hitting home runs then i have to think youre misinformed randy.
i can hit a 90 mile an hour pitch and i have really fast bat speed. i weigh 180 pounds but i can guarantee i cannot hit it 400 ft. why? i can bench atleast my weight, used to do 215 back when i played and weighed alot less. its all about strength. most hitters in the mlb are capable of hitting home runs. they dont have talent?
what about pujols? hes a decent sized guy and i dont see him hitting 70 a year and he has consistently been one of the best hitters in the last 5 years.
hate to tell ya but when its professional sports your talking, there isnt just one barry bonds, theres several who can do and have done what he has as a player. the home run thing is because hes to the point that he can just hit one whenever he connects right. no body checks him. steroids gave him that edge just like they did for mcgwire and sosa. where was bonds in 98 when mcgwire was killing the records? not juicing yet is the answer.

i would love to but as i said i cant remember where i read it...i did read it though. i have no other interest in his sack so i cant be making it up.
i respect your alls opinions but i think bonds has tarnished the image of the game much like a few punks like allen iverson tarnished the image of professional basketball. bonds, imo, has disgraced the record by cheating with roids.
then you have to ask what hank would have accomplished while on roids. and you cant tell me bonds is anymore talented than hank aaron...
he's an asshat, just like jose and sosa and mcgwire, no matter how much they cry about it.

lean and cut are one in the same....... How do you know guys like Pujols arent on roids? They never actually "caught" Barry Bonds with anything. What would your response be if they found out that Pujols was taking some equipoise and some sustenon? Explain how Alfonso Soriano is hitting as many home runs as he is? He sure doesnt look like a steroid user
