bore and stroke question? ws-6
can you bore a stock ls-1 block to a 383 and still use stock heads?
or what would you need to do this?

You can't just bore the LS1 to a 383. Walls are too thin. It would need re-sleeved.
You can put the stock heads on it though.2008 Trailblazer SS

From what i read, you dont need to bore at all. They use stock piston size for these strokers and a 400 crank.

Changing the crank to a 4" stroke will get you a 383. And yes you can use the stock heads. But you should get better flowing ones.
