yup, had one that was full bolt on, been kicking myself in the ass ever since i let it got... but this LT1 is going under the knife soon... Im going 408 LS1 and im trying to decide rather i want to go supercharged or turbo... recently im leaning more towards supercharged though. Im going to be doing the front end swap too probably.

You should just build the LT1...hell with the iron block you could make a kickass FI setup. The 383 LT1's are pretty sick also...

Hey Max,
There's a red goat in our area that has a blower on it. Silly fast. That may be the one that found you.

red ta orange gto- 97 trans am 06 gto
dude go with the lt1 383 stroker. thats what i did and the torque is crazy. i love the thing. when people ask if its a lt1 and i say yes they think its slow. then when i leave there ass the look on there face is priceless.
oh yeah i have one of those 06 gto's now and there are pretty fast. not as fast as my lt1 by any means but for stock its quick. im looking at a supercharger for it as we speak.

Hey Max,
I don't make it to many shows because my weekends are usually tied up racing or preparing for racing. Sometimes getting caught up on chores.
I will be at Summit Point the next 2 weekends racing w/ the SCCA and then NASA. Come out if you get a chance. It is fun for any gearhead. My car is the yellow/red Trans Am, #40.
I will be instructing at VIR the following week for the Corvette Museum event.

The SCCA event requires a license, rollcage, etc. The NASA event allows you to drive your street car at insane speeds. Hyperfest may be sold out, but check the link:
http://www.hyper-fest.com/
Even if it is sold out, you can take some pace laps, (up to 80 mph) at lunch for about $20. There is also something called Hyperdrive but I don't know the details on it. That may be on the Jefferson course while racing goes on the main circuit. There will also be a drifting school on the Jefferson.
If you're serious about getting on track, NASA is the easiest way to get started. They will be back at SP in October. http://www.nasaracing.net/
See you out there!
