Automatic Conversion
Wondering if it is possible to convert an automatic transmission to a manual transmission??? What does it entail and cost??

Why? Put a higher stall TC in and call it a day...a stalled auto is something to be feared.
But if you insist on having a M6 it would be better just to sell your auto and then buy a M6...both headache and cost wise IMO.

exactly.. would be a big pain in the ass. think about everything involved in a manual transmission and think about if you really want to go through trying to gather all those parts and tear apart your interior and install everything

What exactly will a stall do...I am not fimiliar with them???

A stall is another term for a Torque Converter... it controls how high the rpms go up before it launches.... for the most part....

So in other words if i put in a stall the car will not launch until the rpms get up to say 3500 rmps....wont it spin the tires every time...what are the advantages?

I'm going to let someone else answer this as I dont want to steer you wrong.. but I put in a 3600 stall... and instead of the break point around 1200.. its more around 2500-3000... so once it breaks free... you'll have more power instantly at the wheels tp get the car moving. It will feel more like a manual though... as it is basicaly slipping like a clutch would...
