'preciate it if you get a chance.

only problem would be the higher mileage, but it seems to be well taken car of and its still got the stock shifter so, probably not molested too bad. not to mention NC has emmision standards so its not like running straight headers or anything.

That is a nice looking car, I especially like the interior. I agree with you, it barly looks modded because the first thing that I noticed under the hood was the stock air box and Usually that is the first thing to go. But it sure does have a lot of miles. I say if you can afford it BUY IT!

NC has emission standards? When I was stationed there in the military, they only checked safety items (lights, turn signals, horn, and a visual exhaust check), nothing too drastic at all in that state...unless it has changed in the last 5 years.

I would comment on the car, but I am behind a firewall and can't see that link, sorry.

dont buy it!!! chances are you'll need to rebuild the trans. the frame if driven hard is bent like a pretzel by now...so you'll get things like creaks and rattles and ttop leaks...trust me there are better ones out there.

thanks, i agree with you shady(nice av) since hickory is close to my dad i think im going to take a friend of mine i met while working at Hawks Third Gen Parts and go look at it. can't hurt to look at and drive it, but im every bit of cautious seeing those miles.

def wouldn't just buy it w/o a thorough rub down

personally i wouldnt buy it. The miles are to high, and it was probably a daily driver, give or take 18k miles a year. Just because it looks stock doesnt mean it was never modded. He could have modded the hell out of it, decided to sell it, put all the stock parts back on and sell the aftermarket parts for more $. This way if he doesnt get the price he wanted for the car and IF he had aftermarket parts he cuda made some $ of them. Hell i thought my car was stock when i bought it, and came to find out it once had a moser 12 bolt in it.
