SES light on and code p102
What would be wrong with my car possibly if I'm thowing the p102 or something like that code, It said something like Mass Air Flow: Low Voltage or something like that. What would cause that? I was thinking it could be my alternator, because when I start my car my tach and speedo go all the way up and down real slow and also it resets my trip, Any ideas?

P0102? See www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8916.php
The gauge sweep/trip resetting to zero is from low battery voltage on the '99 cars. Here's the TSB on it: http://home.earthlink.net/~cetera/pics/aug99tsb.jpg

Hot Wires
2001NBMZ28 has your information in his link. It is as stated in the Service Manual. I noticed you ported your Maf. Make sure you didn't damage the hot wires. They keep a fixed temperature above ambient temperature.

It was working and then I just had the voltage regulator replaced on the alternator, that's why I think it's the alternator messing with my voltage. It wasn't throwing this code until after the alternator was fixed. I'm about to go to o'reilys and get a new one with a lifetime warranty for $108 before it messes up something.

Ran the tests off that website provided (although all I have is a test light and a ohm meter) and I had 5 volts between the signal and a ground and had the test light go off when I tested the ignition+ to the ground and then I found the engine sensor fuse was blown. So I replaced the fuse and went for a ride and the service engine light never went off, then when I got back I found the fuse was blown again. Any ideas?

Again....did you check your wires in the MAF for damage or trash?

Talking about taking the maf apart or the 3 wires that are in the opening? Those wires arn't broken. Anything else? What about my alternator, it never hummed when I just turn my key on.. Maybe it's doing something crazy? Like to much voltage or not enough.
