red- 2002 formula firebird
how much hp do I have with these mods?
I jut bought a my 2002 nhra formula about a month and a half ago, this is my 1st 4th gen. I was told from the owner that it was an 11 second car with 400 hp to the wheels but i'm a little sketchy about this, here are the mods,
- Futural Motorsports FM-13 cam 230/232 595/585 113LSA
- FM chromemoly Hardened pushrods
- Dual Manly .650 Lift valve springs
- LS6 intake manifold
- SLP High Flow Ram Air Kit
- K&N Filter
- MTI Carbon Fiber Intake lid
- Thunder Racing Ported/Polished MAF ends (anodized red)
- Smooth Intake bellows
- Thunder Racing Ported/Polished Throttle body w/ polished case
- Flow Tech Jet-Hot coated long tube headers
- 3 inch stainless Steel Off-road y-pipe
- SLP Loudmouth Stainless Steel catback exhaust
- SLP 160 thermostat
- 36 pound High-Flow Bosch fuel injectors
- MSD Super Conductor red 8.5mm ignition wires
- NGk TR55 plugs
- Throttle body bypass kit

sounds like you should be righ around if not over that 400rwhp number from the mods you listed. best thing is to spend 50-75 dollars, dyno it and post up the numbers. it sounds healthy with what you listed...

If you can get it to hook then you should be able to hit 11s without too much trouble. Congrats on the purchase, throw some heads on there and let her breathe!
