Has anyone seen an RX7 LS1 conversion ?
I was filling up at a local BP and an RX7 pulled in behind me. I heard him when he turned in and knew there was no way in hell this was a rotary engine !! The cam lope was wicked !!! Curiousity got the best of me and I went over to talk to him, guy was cool as hell and popped the hood to show me a LS1 stuffed into an RX7 !! He had patriot heads (not sure which stage), a custom grind cam and electric cutouts. He had not had it dyno so he was not sure how much horsepower he was putting to the pavement. I waited for him to leave and he opened the cutouts..... It sounded like Mr Luos !!!! There is one hell of a sleeper in Clarksville !!

Yeah and the guy was super slow because he had 19 inch wheels on it. It did sound great though! The one I saw was done through Hinson Motorsports

Red- 2000 Trans Am
I almost bought a 240sx with a ls1 in it it was from a corvette but the car ran a 12.2 i believe it was with a stock corvette ls1. there so light and the RX-7 is way lighter than a trans am it would be fast as hell.

Talked to a friend of mine today who has a C6 vette (he thinks the sun rises and sets around his completely stock car and nothings faster on the road). Well apparently he had his ass handed to him on I-24 by a certain Mazda RX7
Now he says it took a "Hybrid" to beat him LMAO !!
