I already have a couple vehicles, so I just called the same guys. Great deal.
Have you tried Geico? So Easy, even Caveman can do it!

the type of bike is almost more important than who you go through.
i use American Family Insurance on my 2003 Suzuki SV1000S and pay about $500.00/year for full coverage.

you will be raped no matter where you go for a couple reasons.
1.) the letter "R" appears in the name of the bike. i shit you not this is one of those things that is unstated but common knowledge. RR stands for Race Ready by the way.
2.) full fairing
3.) it is a full on sport bike
it will not be cheap no matter where you go. i'd estimate that you will pay at least $1,500/year for full coverage if not more.

i have a 1300 cruiser but state farm we have 7 cars with, they wanted $800/yr, geico wanted over $1000 and so did Geico. Went with a recommended local company called Langley Agency and full coverage (not bare minumum coverage either) runs $588/yr. Everyone else i know only pays ~ $300 yr but i havent taken a motorcycle safety course (if you havent taken that it helps ALOT on rates) and i have a permit not a license
Here is their # if you want to just check and see what they run:

I know State Farm goes up a lot after 900cc
Most of my quotes for a CBR600 was around $300 .. which is not bad ... and Motorcycle safety course may get it down some more ...

I've always had St Farm also. When I got my new 05 Gixxer 1000, it was in my name, I was 24 with a perfect driving record & the dam thing was $145 a month!! Once I turned 25, it went down to like $38 a month, hugh downfall. This was with $100 comp & $500 collision coverage

Geico and Progressive are the highest for rates so don't even bother with them. they quoted me $2,500/year for the bike that i currently have.

yeah the lady on the other end said "are you sitting down?" yeah...why? "well to insure that bike it will be $2500 per year. sir i think you should consider a different bike." my response to her "no...i'll just consider a different insurance company." and i hung up.
like i said. American Family Insurance...same bike...$500/year...full coverage.
Progressive knows motorcycles...my left foot

I pay 370 a year for full coverage on an '04 600RR with USAA, but I had my grandfather put his name on the title so they think he co owns it and then he put it on his insurance which has a harley and 3 other honda bikes on it. So he gets the multi bike discount and the senior discount. Other wise anybody else wanted around 3 grand a year for full coverage.
