Hey, why are you continuously ridiculing country folk? I'm one of 'em. I have friends of many races and I will HELP anyone who needs it. I have some differences with people about lifestyle issues, but I do not characterize anyone as less than I because of race, ethnic background, or gender.

While I understand your anger about this original thread, how about back off the "country-bumpkin" stereotypes a little? Especially since I'm with you on the issue that angered you. That is unless, you don't like country folks.

You're right, things are going downhill especially at the national level of politics. I'm not sure if race is that big a part of it, but you have a point that the more minorities vote, the more likely a candidate who caters towards their wishes will be elected.

In some ways, it does suck to be a white male in today's American society. But there's really not much we can do about it.
