no... real thing... we learned the basic disarms last night... last week there was a guy who did a seminar... his father was teh one who invented arnise... this guy is in hit 60's... and could have every member from this board attack him with the sticks and come out with not a scratch on him and leave a pile of bodies on the floor... this guy loves to teach and our master had to kick him out cause he kept on going and going... we will be using foam arnise sticks to spar and prop knives that have a nasty electrical charge... you learn that you jusr died with out the whole death thing that way... or you learn that "shit... i'm missing fingers now from trying to disarm you..."
