squeek/chirp from underside of engine

I've noticed that when my car gets warmed up there is a high-pitched chirping/squeeking/whirring sound and after popping the hood i've determined it's coming from the underside of the engine and doesn't sound like belts. It's been 50°-70° weather lately with some humidity, last night it rained. I have a 2000 ws.6, any

would be appreciated.

Where is the noise exactly coming from?Bottom of motor or just from somewhere underneath the car.It could be your air pump or a bearing in the belt tensioner or the water pump,oil pump,etc....

shit...that's teh best i can describe it, i only assessed it this morning and was wearing work clothes and a leather-coat so i couldn't really go diving around on the ground. zboner wasn't around to do my light-work either, so until then....thanks for the pointers, lawdog.
