K&N filter on 05 colorado
how benificial are they? are they worth the $45? jw.
any info on them would be great

They are worth $45 because they are lifetime filters, and never need to be replaced. The only thing it needs is the cleaning/recharge kit, which is like $8 and only needs to be done when the filter gets really dirty.
They also provide better airflow and more HP and Fuel economy, but don't expect a noticeable difference, its something like 1-2%.

ok thanks man. i appreciate the help, fuel economy is one me and my dad are concerned about (its actually his truck, but i dont have a car yet, so we share) hes got the inline 5 engine which does pretty good, but we added a cap on the back, so it adds alot of weight and its much less aerodynamic.
