gains were over 30rwhp/20rwtq for the stage II heads. i went with stage II heads because that's what the guy had that i was looking into. i'm not concerned with peak numbers.

I trying to figure out based on the lift/intake/exhaust numbers what the gain would be on each of the above, I know AFR will yield best results but the price is sad.
u did the ls6 intake and stage II heads correct = 35rwhp?

i am not sure, but i would think you'd want it to work in symetry. more air you move in/out the better. since intake it lager than exhaust, i would say that exhaust would be more significant in expelling the spent gases. but that's how i make sense of it all, and i very well could be incorrect in my thinking...

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

is it realistic to expect 60 - 100 hp gains with a head/cam combo?

that's what I though too, a balance in in/out. I think the higher ration in/out... the higher the in the higher the out should be as well, direct proportional.. I think..

lift will change with the cam that you run. you are right AFR will yoeld better results, and yes, the price is OUCH!!! If i were you I would go Stage III. but do research first before buying. sounds like you are already off to a good start. Hell, even calling patriot might answer some of your questions about gains, etc...

Stage III is for bigger bore like 4.00 + sounds to me 6.0 liter engines and up.
which will be ideal for me.

yes it is with a good cam, good set of heads and a good tune.

question i ask you is that flywheel or rear wheel gains you are asking about? huge difference in numbers between the two...

good flowing heads and a good cam will give close to 60rwhp on ls1 block. in my opinion.
Patriot stage III and G5X2 or X3 cam + tune = 60rwhp gain
above 60 if u got ls6 intake or fastx and 90mm tb etc.. add another 15

hey man i am just saying some people get caught up in the wrong numbers and end up disappointed...

60-100 you can expect to the rear wheels with what i said above: good cam, heads, and tune...

you add intake and headers, you will only be getting more...

my little Comp 224, LT's/ORY, Ls6 intake, and Stage II heads have given me over 80+ rwhp alone...

part i don't have: TB, UD Pulley, MAF, elec. water pump, etc...

in my situation (402 block and good cam) the ls1 heads alone rob me of 40rwhp, I could mod the heads now get like stage III, but I'll drive with a cork in it for a year (ls1 stock heads) until I am ready to use 480rwhp... I need wider tires, stall it, 12 bolt, before
    I get the 600hp to engine(480rwhp)...
