Blue w/ Black Stripes- 1971 Camaro Z/28 RS

The car was in excellent shape when we got it in April of '99. It had rear quarters & paint 16 years prior to our buying it, but the previous owner only drove it about 800 miles since having it redone.
I have since rebuilt the motor, ( 350 + .040, 10.5 to 1 Speed-Pros, Comp Cams XE 284, 700 DP, the GM intake last winter, Hooker headers, & MSD ignition,) Muncie M-21 w Hurst SuperShifter, and I found a 12 bolt diff to carry the 4.10 gears.
Late summer of 2004, the car got rear-ended, and spent the next year in the bodyshop. That's when the steel cowl hood and Cragars went on. The 21 year old lacquer paint job was replaced with the BC/CC it now has.
Last winter I decided to clean up the underside, and started removing the rest of the undercoating from the floorpans back. (I had already cleaned the front end off & painted the subframe a few years ago. While cleaning things up, the paint started coming off the subframe, so now it's powdercoated, along with all of the suspension components (Vette Brakes kit on the front) and traction bars & SFCs. All new stainless brake & fuel lines & hardware were added.
The only plans I have for this winter include getting the back seat recovered to match the 4th gen front seats, and install the new Sony CD/MP3 player I got for Christmas.
We brought the '02 home on New years Eve, so it has a younger brother to share the garage with. (It's just as much fun to drive, and a lot easier too.)
