Good luck man. I hope everything goes good. Are you going to do a complete rebuild with new cam, pistons, or what you gonna do?

Looks like fun...........good luck.
Must the heads be removed to get the motor out the top? looks like it but I'm not sure

It can be done without pulling the heads.. We just wanted to make it as easy as possible to pull.

I think the question there is where would you hook up the cherry picker to the body?I mean in a shop you use a rack and lift the body up off the k-frame-with a cherry picker you would pick the body up,or would you.Anybody done this?

I pulled mine from the top too. It can be done and considering I don't have a lift in my home garage, it was pretty mich the only option. On a darker note, my car is still down too!

Howdy again
Man this is a perfect oppurtunity to preach on oil aint it...look at that varnish and the carbon on the pistons....ouch...no wonder the bearing shit the bed. You need a catch can looking at that carbon on those pistons....and some serious consideration to a quality oil with reasonable OCI's.....Clean the shit out of your intake before you slap her back on...get a catch can....good luck with your engine rebuild...
