Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
A wreck is HOW I got my LS1. Another driver hit my T-bird and the insurance comapny said to take it for an estimate (red flag went up). They sent out an adjuster who totalled it, but offered it back to me for $1200 or so. I bought it, and sold it for a profit. Then a friend (car dealer) from church who lives nearby had a 1999 Z28 in his yard (consignment). Made an offer, boom, now I went Chevrolet.
So keep the faith brother. A replacement may come up on radar.
I'm glad you realize that the lack of serious injury is the important thing. I'm happy for that as well.
Take care and good luck with the search.

Were those GS-D3 tires? I have those and they suck if it's under 45 degree's out. I've spun mine in rain in 4th when it was around 38 out in a construction zone and almost whacked a cement baracade! That scared the shit out me and I put my winters on until it warms up.
