? Boxed or Tubular LCAs
For street use with wider tires in the rear. I'm sure both have their strengths and weaknesses but I dunno which to go with for the intention of street use. So which one and why?
Thanks

boxed = better structural rigidity
round = less capable

Cyclone Grey Metallic- 2005 GTO
i went with tubular. there is definately a big difference over stock but the ride is still good. My car is alot more street than strip so i wanted something good, but not NHRA top fuel good. Tubular gave me a mix of both.

Pound for pound the round tubing is stronger than square tubing. Either one will be fine but the thing you want to look at is the bushing configuration. If you are only using these for drag racing a standard two piece bushing will work fine but for street, drag, and cornering you will want to use a 3 piece bushing combination like these.

Navy Blue Metallic- '99 T/A WS6 M6
I went with boxed...pound for pound, i would say BOXED.....unlike what is said above...there is really not much difference these days unless u are counting OUNCES.
I have Hotchkiss Boxed and if I put round vs boxed in a big vise and tried to bend them....round would LOSE miserably.

At this time the only way to get the bushing combination is to order the set of our lca's unless you have a older version of our lca's we are allowing upgrades.
