    a/c-heat

    i just got my a/c recharged and now the heat does not work....dealer is going to fix it but im just curious to know whats wrong

    Did the heat work before they got under your hood or did you just not notice it because it's hot outside?

    these cars have a lot of issues with the control knobs. it doesnt pull the right vacuum so even though the inside gauge says heat, it may still be on the a/c setting. i had the reverse wrong with my car. just fixed it today. bad vacuum hose in the engine compartment.

    Yea like bsudak said it's probably a vacuum leak/bad hose. There's also a little valve to the right rear of the intake manifold that has a few vacuum hoses on it...sometimes that goes bad and will cause what you're talking about. It's a quick fix but if the dealer is going to do it then all the better.
