Yep, but I say 86 cause that's the year that they throttled my Pat's in the Super Bowl. Basically in that one game the Bears ended Tony Easons career as he was never the same QB after that. I've seen more nutsack on a deer in headlights than Eason had thereafter.
I keep waiting for Grossman to faulter, especially after the Monday night game against the Cards. But at this point, I gotta say he's for real. At least until he proves otherwise.
Oh, BTW, the Sunday night flex games start soon. I'm willing to bet the Bears-Pat's game get's moved to that slot. Haven't they already been moved aganst the Giants?

I hope its the Bears and Colts in the Super Bowl, and hope both are still undefeated by then. That would be a hell of a match up.

They have moved the Bears-Giants game to the evening and the Patriots game is being looked at as well. The only other game worth national tv is already set and that is against the Rams. Ok, maybe the Minnesota game but that is a stretch???
A super bowl with two undefeated teams- don't think that will happen. Rmemember the Colts last year were 14-0 and dropped the last two games because they rested their starters. That ended up costing them the playoffs because they had a bye week going into the playoffs and then when it was go time everyone was rusty.

I have to agree with you about the Colts last year.... I can see Chi-town looseing at least one game , just as a mistake kinda like Pitt lost to Raiders yesturday

Da Bears is right!
Looks to be just like 1985 all over again.
I wonder if the team will record a song if the become the super bowl champs just like '85?

I think some are to quick to dismiss my Pat's. They are JUST starting to click. Belichick fixes what's wrong in the first 4 games and then, BOOM!...The road to the SB is thru Foxboro

No one is saying they are already the 'Soup bowl' winners just that they are really looking to be as strong as the legendary 1985 Bears team.
I agree Pats still look strong as well as Indy, Bronc's, Bolt's, Giants, hell maybe even Eagles or Cowboys could still put their shit together.
I am just not to sure about last years teams in the super bowl game.
Does anyone think Seahawks or Steelers will make it this year?

Amen brother. They are only going to get better as the season progresses. At the end of the season Brady and his WR corps will be VERY familiar with each other. That coupled with a healthy Dillon/Maroney combo will make this offense pretty much the best in the league. That along with a healthy D that is allowing fewer and fewer PPG will be extremely hard to stop. I believe they are allowing only 13 PPG right now.
