power steering problems

the power steering pump staring leaking on my car, i had a new one put on and it is leaking again. does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

i was told underdrive pulleys?

Is it leaking from the pump itself? Or is it one of the lines?



'Cause if it truly was the pump that leaked the first time, replacing it would have fixed it right up.


Either the new pump is defective or it's not the pump that is leaking.



Pulleys wouldn't cause it to leak.





I'd say take a look at all the hoses and the actual assembly underneath the car to see where it's now leaking from. Make sure the spring clamps are tight too.

Like Da said check your lines and also take a look at your rack and the lines going into it.
Your pulley wouldnt have anything too do with it.
Is your new pump under warranty?

Thats not good, they sell two diff types of pumps one with a res. and the other without. Chances are if you had the leak and they replaced the pump they reused the old res. So now you have got too try and find a used res. or find a new one.
