My first car in high school was a 427 big block chevelle 4 spd 12 bolt posi. Hopped it up with headers, cam, manifold, holley carb and ran 12.40

    AT 16 YEARS OLD.

Turned around sold that bitch for a BOSS 429 MUSTANG at 18 years old.

Man, back in those days we hung out at the track damn near full time. I bet I had over 2000 passes before I was out of high school

And street racing???? Forget about it, EVERY weekend it was street racing for money.

Right the fuck on the main drag just like in the movies. We cruised ALL NIGHT LONG. Up and down fucking with the chicks, burning out, racing, whatever.

Enjoy those teen years man, cause soon enough you gotta grow up and that aint no fun.

the 1960's called, they want you to STFU.

this is 2006, not 1960. You get caught doing the shit you described, and his ass will end up with a impounded car, a record for life, and a revoked drivers liceense, all before he fucking turns 18.

yes, i street race, but god damn, its in the COUNTRY. your talking about on main roads, your going to make this kid sit and think ohhhhhh ahhhhh and feel invincible. next thing ya know he's on here asking for tips on a good lawyer cause the states fucking him up the ass.

maybe you should stick to making threads about giving people companies for your strip club that nobody cares about

he is right... times have changed and laws are against street racing are much more severe. Also there are more people living in the US now than there were in the 60s or 70s.... and many of these people are shitty ass drivers. You can be the best driver in the world... but if you are bombing down a main road and someone turns out in front of you.. game over

Hate to say it, but where I grew up, the scene is still there. And also the 60's were way before my time.

What have i got against you?

this post in here is what i got against you, look what you typed, then look at the kids age, and tell me he's not young and impressionable. ALL young kids are, and your telling him to go get this badass v8 and street race that bitch like he's living in 1967.

i tell you whats going to happen, he's gonna read your post, his eyes are gonna widen up, he's gonna thi8nk hahahhahaa thats cool as shit i wanna do that...

all of our other posts then mean dick and we know nothing about anything, he will get his LS1 with skinny ass stock tires.....go out to the local hangout, setup a race with his entiree Burger King paycheck, and the moment the race starts the boys in blue are going to be there with cuffs in hand and his life will be FUCKED.

So please tell me where im wrong here.....its one thing to encourage him to get wehat he wants, but dont tell him what he has the oppertunity to do...let him figure that out on his own, that way its his own stupidity, and not someone elses that caused the worst case scenario to go down.....

whats my problem with you? This thread is my problem with you....i started disliking you the moment you posted what you posted. I cant change your opinion, but i can let my opinion be known so this kid doesnt go out and kill himself, kill his gf and or friends, or get his license revoked forever, car impounded, and misses school cause he's in jail waiting to get bond.

Notice I have kept my big mouth shut?
I can't keep it shut.So many here have advised to get a 6cylinder etc. to mature into a muscle car. Wrong! I know guys that are 60 and immature as hell. Maturity so often has nothing to do with age. Both of my girls were driving my muscle cars out here in the country when they were 13-14. I taught them to drive in a muscle car. That is all they knew how to drive. Why? Because I wanted them to respect it and the power. It provided them with a keen sense of "focus" when they got behind the wheel....and both my girls are good drivers....oh they have the ocassional "OOps" when looking for their sunglasses and stuff...but zero issues with street racing etc. And yes my girls can launch and drive better than any guy I have ever seen at their ages today....So lose the "grown into it" and "wait for the maturity fairy to show up" If you get a muscle car as your first car just remember this one thing.....you dont have to "proove" you got the horsepower to anybody...just having it is good enough....and of course the ocassional burn out at Sonic Drive In
I also trained my girls and my Grandson on firearms at a very early age. When they showed curiosity about my guns...I said lets go shoot....got the 12 guage and some buckshot...took all they could to hold it up (I helped a little)...pulled the rigger and fell on their ass...cried like hell...scared the living shit out of them...and I had no "gun accident" problems from that point on with any of them....cuz they knew at a early age the power of a gun and had no more "curiousity" left in em....

If you need a good looking mature fella to sip on Jim Beam...while lighting his Marlboro with a Zippo and wittling away with a Case knife...while nekkid women take my picture....then just PM me.
