Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
friend talkin crap about racing me..taking bets now
Heh, it's all friendly, but seriously I think I'm gonna rape him like a $2 prostitute. Here's the rundown:
Me-
99 Z28 -3.23s
headers/ory/loudmouth
MTI lid
160 stat, fans set to keep it around 175
ported TB
Torquer 2 232/234 .595/.598
VIG 3600 stall
TSP tuned (at the end of the week, not yet so I don't have #s)
Him-
98 Z28 -4.11s
stock manifolds and y. . . .loudmouth
Ls6 heads
Ls6 intake
Ls6 cam
getting tuned this friday at TSP
. . .that's it. . .
He's never even driven his car. I found it for him on ebay minus engine/tranny so he threw together a LS6 and left everything else stock. . .manifolds, stock lid and all. He found out today that it has 4.11s in it when he pulled the cover, but he was talkin crap even before he found out about the gears. I told him his puny GM performance parts and gears aren't enough to handle my cam stall and full exhaust. Don't worry, I've harrassed him non-stop about not getting headers/lid or anything. He may not have much of a cam but he's choking that thing without doing some basic mods to help it breathe.
Maybe I'm dellusional about winning, but I don't think he's even gonna put up a fight.
Oh yeah, he's running on 245/40/18s. . .he wanted to look good

be carefull didn't you just put that cam in last week, you need about 500 miles to break it in at least. after all that work don't pound on it that soon.

LS1 cams require no break-in.

roller cams do not need break in, only solid cams do. i say that the cam and stall will overcome but i am not sure ur gonna totally destroy him by 300 car lengths either. can he drive?

We are both A4s. I'm installing a 3600 stall and it's sticking with nitto 555r rears, he is running the stock stall on those 245/40/18s. But in response to can he drive. . .after three times with the dreaded2-3-2 shift he sold his M6 to build an automatic. . .which he hasn't even driven yet. you be the judge.
