    Question What is the true horsepower rating on a stock 99 ls1 engine

    Can someone tell me the true horsepower rating on the stock ls1 engine in the 99 trans am.I here 305-315 what is it really? or do anyone really know.

    I think that 305 and 325 are the most commonly quoted horsepower ratings for that year, the latter being the WS.6 cars.
