    Title issues

    Just traded my z28 for a trans am and the previous owner signed in the buyers space. So he initialed it and then signed in the correct spot. The dmv says i have to get a form from him signed but i live 7 hrs away from him. I faxed him the form and it seems as hes refusing to send it back. What can i do?

    Ask the Title office. They may be able to help clarify your options. Have you called him and let him know or find out why he won't mail it to you? I mean it's a stamp...

    Ugh. That's not a fun issue as most state DMV's have little or no sense of humor. The seller is obligated to provide you with a properly executed document to transfer the title. You may need to consult with an attorney if he continues to dodge you.

    Fill out the form and sign his name to it. He'll never know and since he is being a dick, who cares.
