Silver- 1999 Trans-Am, 2012 Sonic
You got that right Jim. That looks cool as Shit. Would love to hit that show for a week some day.
Worked on a old rider myself tonight Jeff. Dad was given the neighbors cause he's been cutting her lawn for years and she is moving. Had a broken bracket on the deck, so had to do some welding. It's a mulcher and he just wants it for the leaves in the fall then he bags them with his new one.
Trailblazer inspection today and 2 bad tie rods..there's a surprise as it continues to nickel and dime me just as I plan to unload it. So they are ordered and should have them tomorrow...

Jeff - my father had a Trailblazer and it was a total POS. They would take it on a trip to Michigan and usually have to hit 2-3 Chevy dealerships on the way out and back to get the thing fixed, fixed again, and re-fixed.
Heading out in the a.m. to pick up the '70. Dawn is beyond excited.

My wife likes the looks of the Challenger over Camaro and Mustang. Her words "looks roomy and comfortable" She thinks my bird is a little tight and too low to the ground. She thinks I'm going to get run over sometimes. She's always like SUV's and cars that sit high. For her it's visibility. She's driven the Firebird I use to have and hated it for those reasons.
If I went to get one I don't think I'd have too hard of a time convincing her to let me. For now we are focusing on killing some bills so maybe by next summer I may look for a new car.
Because when she get's back she's taking over the Durango.

It actually has been a great car other than it likes to eat wheel bearings my buddy said its a common problem but as of late it seems as if it is imploding. I will probably sell it outright so I need to have it working safely.
YES,YES,YES what Scott said. I would have already ordered them for the moment it arrived home.....

All went well with the trip up and back to pick up the car. After getting it home and unloaded we went and took care of the registration and then checked everything over good. Dawn fired it up for the maiden voyage... and we made it three miles before running out of gas.

We were rescued in short order and with fuel in the tank we were able to finish our ride. Looking forward to getting home on Sunday and getting it ready for inspection.

Overnighted at the Beaver House. Have a wedding today down below Harrisburg. We'll stay tonight with a friend in Mount Joy before heading home in the morning. Not sure what the plan is between now and the wedding.

Congrats on new car Jeff! I agree with a previous comment.. Out split bumpers on it! FYI, the car show at chilsons is sept 4 this year. I'm out of town that week. I just got my car back. It was down with a broken steering column since June 5th. I picked a guy who I thought was going to be relatively quick, but he was slower than crap. Got the column back in, looks and operates great!

We're trimming out the Beaver house still. The price of trim is ridiculous. I bet each door frame runs me almost $120.

True on the cost of trim....very expensive. Gotta keep the beaver trimmed up tho.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
