Got tired of replacing Alternators because of a $0.60 o ring failure.
This is after several heat cycle start ups and with the air filter, lid and WS6 airlid tray installed.
I wondering if I can make this my ring tone now......
This is starting to give me a woody.......

Minor issues....brakes need bleed, looks like I need a new brake reservoir cap & radiator cap as well.

If your phone is android you certainly can, I've made plenty of ringtones from my CD collection. All you need is a program called "Audacity", just open your video file with it, take a 30 second section of it, convert it to mp3 at 192kbps bitrate, name it and copy it to the relevant folder in your phone. It will then appear in ringtone menu for you to select.

My 6 Liter 403ci Build
went to do a start up & would not stay on. Ended up having to take the airlid off and tried again and this time it stayed on. I guess until it gets tune it will need to stay off so it could breath. I might need to adjust the idle screw see if that will help.
Started putting the nose back together and the inside console. Need to get the old hood hardware so I can put the new one on.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 04-06-2015 at 04:49 PM.

don't start adjusting shit until you get your tune.......you'll just have it more fucked up than it needs to be.
You need to get at least a base tune in there so you don't foul everything before you just let it sit and idle.

you can borrow my efilive if you wanted to tinker with the tune......98 pcm's are free so you won't have to buy credits for it.

My tuner has a base tune on it already. I'm going to see him around the 1st to get it tune. I would love to play with a tuning software but would feel better having someone walk me thru it first. I'd hate to screw something up after all this work.

I think I'll start running an open cut out next to her house.....

Well went on a mini-vacation last weekend. Got the hood on before I left and today confirmed my tuning session for the 1st.
Hopefully I can get the rest of the front put back on, but we are a having a week of rain & flooding, so it might be the weekend before that finishes up.

I'll let the paint shop do the final gaping when they do the paint.
